HOME IMPROVEMENT
Comedy Designed to Build Ratings
It's tough being a modern man - and TIM TAYLOR (popular stand-up comedian Tim Allen) knows that more than anyone. Because Tim is not only a modern man, but also a husband, father to three boys, and the host of his own Home Improvement television program.
Although Tim may be an expert about ratchet wrenches and mitre saws on his TV show, at home it's his ever-patient wife JILL who's the authority. But with a hammer drill in hand and the best intentions at heart, Tim attempts to solve any crisis that comes his way - whether he's "improving" the dishwasher or attaching a "power motor" to the food blender - with hilarious results! As a father, Tim tries to teach his sons BRAD, RANDY, and MARK about the joys - and requirements - of manhood, while at the same time, he tries to understand the pysche of that elusive species... women. Tim is helped in his quest to be the perfect modern husband by his philosophizing over-the-fence neighbor WILSON, who's always ready with a funny anecdote to help out his friend. On his TV show - the only place where can truly "reclaim the male spirit" - Tim is assisted by AL, a quiet carpenter with a bad case of butt crack, and LISA, the resident buxom blonde tool assistant. This hilarious new comedy from Touchstone Television is sure to keep viewers nailed to their televisions!
