Synopsis
The cast appears in animated form during a brief dream sequence in this touching Thanksgiving episode. The story concerns Tim's freeloading friend Benny, whose past boorish behavior puts him off the Taylors' holiday guest list until Tim sees him in line at a soup kitchen. Tim's change of heart is followed by the dream, filmed in stop-motion animation by the studios of Claymation creator Will Vinton. In the fantasy, Tim gathers a myriad of items for those less fortunate and comes to realize that "real charity is about giving of yourself." The show also includes cameos (in human form) by race-car drivers Michael and Mario Andretti, who compete against Tim in "the Butterball 500," a turkey-carving race, which is called by famous Indy 500 announcer Jack Arute.
